WHAT IS THE JOSEPH CHAMBRONE MEMORIAL FUND
We are an incorporated 501(c)(3) charity founded in 2023 in honor of Joseph “Big Joe” Chambrone. The JCMF is governed by an executive board which consists of members with varying professional backgrounds who joined together with the aim of continuing his charitable legacy.
WHO WAS BIG JOE?
Joseph J. Chambrone was born September 21,1970 in New Hartford and a 1988 graduate of Frankfort-Schuyler schools and later Mohawk Valley Community College. An employee of Gander Mountain and later Northern Safety, Big Joe spent his life here in the local area participating in things he loved such as shooting sports, riding his motorcycle with his club, and spending time with his family and friends. Joe was active in supporting local charitable organizations such as the House of Good Shepherd, Kelberman Center, The BING Foundation, and others. Sadly, Big Joe departed this world on November 11, 2021 due to unfortunate health complications.
WHAT WE DO
We strive to make a positive impact in our local community. Our board members all have a history of being involved in numerous local charitable causes and fund-raising efforts.
WHAT WE HAVE DONE
Since 2021, working in conjunction with the Herkimer and Utica chapters of the Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club and 315K for the Cure, we have held an annual June golf tournament to raise money which has been donated in whole to local children and families who are suffering from pediatric cancer. The efforts of all individuals involved have resulted in over $50,000 raised which has been used for:
